Getting some good growth on it, it is an amazing looking colony!!Ahhh? Big? Hahahaha....... I don’t know how many heads it is now. It’s getting close to the size of the colony I sold about a year ago. That started as a one head stick frag I had a few years ago. As soon as I stuck it into that spot it exploded. It’s my magic hammer spot

It's doing quite well actually. My tank got pretty hot during a heatwave so my SPS frag had a tough time. Luckily I was able to cool it down before things got out of hand. From what I've heard it can still recover so I'm hoping that will happen. Everything else in the tank is doing very well, so I'm very happy about that!

Based on that thumb it looks like after your second six pack of Spotted CowSlow on the updates here. Have been busy busy busy. Repainted the wall my tank was on. Moved my setup to a new corner.
Took those pictures at 12:30 Friday night after my second coat of primer. I always liked staying up late and painting by myself while knocking back beer or two.

Unfortunately I am loosing one of my colonies, and possibly two. My green monti is about dead and one of my setosas is looking very pale as well. I honestly haven’t had time to do much testing lately. When I have my ca and alk all check out okay. I have lost two Astrea snails, a hermit and possibly a nassarius. I’m getting a bit worried something is not right. I need to test nitrate and phosphate again and look over for exposed metal. Hopefully everything is okay. I’m trying not to over react and cause more damage. Everything else looks fantastic. So I’m just trying to keep things stable and look for obvious factors. If I can’t find anything then I’ll just keep plugging along.
Tried to match the grey from the rest of the living room but it is slightly lighter with blue hue. It looks good though. The corals started to look off about a month ago. I stopped dosing vibrant thinking that my nutrients may have bottomed out and that they were starving. Still might be the issue. Again I need to take the time to do some testing. Just hoping it’s not something leeching into the water because that could be tricky to find and fix.Based on that thumb it looks like after your second six pack of Spotted Cow

might be dumb question but are you running any carbon? I was changing out my carbon every 2 days when I painted around the tank just in case

Thanks bruv! I had to trim a bunch of my sps down last water change. The base of my teal acro in the back left (that’s my marine biology way of saying the teal acro in the back left) is encrusting over the base of my “ Joe the Coral,” also back left but slightly forward with a green tinge. So I had to make a kalkwasser slurry, toothpaste consistency and apply it to the base of the teal acro....which I shall now call, “Mega Teal the Great conqueror of the SPS.” Hopefully this will stop it from devouring the Joe the Coral. Such silly names.
