Biocube 29 fuge light

I have a bc29 and am looking into making a fuge in the 2nd chamber.
What light do you recommend for it?
I was looking at the 2 from brs , one has s magnet the other a suction cup. Either any good or is there anything better around the same price?

A Refugium doesn't need a super fancy light. A simple led bulb from your local hardware store will work just fine. You just have to make sure it is 6500k. But if you did want to go a fancy route eshopps makes a Refugium light that works like a charm and has a sleek design.

That does look cool but I have the hood on the tank and don't want to see the light at night.

Well then the suction cup on I think would work for your purpose. Just has to be 6500k or very near their

I have one of these on my Nanocube. I found that light spread doesn't cover the whole refugium section when it is mounted directly to the tank. I velcrowed mine to the wall and saw great results. I probably cut 25% out every two weeks, and it grows back dense.
