I've been running Biocubes for a long time now, but I've never had the HQI version. I found a great deal on Craigslist for a used setup that I'm thinking about scooping up, but I was curious about the heat. I always remove the top on any AIO tank I have and traditional go the LED lighting route. Since this is the HQI version, I'd most likely keep the lighting and use a 20K bulb.
Taking into consideration the top will be removed, is heat typically an issue with this tank? My Biocube 14 stays between 77-78 consistently by using an oversized heater and keeping the room temperature at 74 degrees, so I'd like to keep this consistency on the new tank. Thanks
