Just received my Coralife Biocube 29. I really love my Biocube 14, but ran out of room. I initially planned on setting up a 30 gallon with a sump, but the light i was going to use fried, rather than spend $240 for the light alone, I decided to go with a larger cube. I haven't even finished filling it yet, I need to pick up some water, micron bags, a sponge piece, and a UV, I'm not sure on whether or not I will add a skimmer, I own one for the 14 gallon, but rarely run it and have yet to have any phosphate problems, levels are usually at zero and my water changes are once every two weeks, NO2 and NO3 are also low, in short, the tank is stable. I may just use the skimmer from that 14 and swap it every week. I was wondering about pistol shrimp, I really want two skunk cleaners in the tank as well, will he bother these?

My pistol rarely comes out, at one point I thought it was a gonner until I moved my tank from house to house a couple weeks ago, he was alive and well. I had two Cleaner shrimp, one did not make the move well, the other is still kicking.....I hear pistols can get mean if anything gets to comfy around it's burrow though....

And congrats on your 29! Love mine! I use the little cheapo Coralife skimmer, seems to work just fine, pulls out good gunk, just small, so I have to clean the cup out every other day.

Just curious if you had the oceanic 14 or coralife 14?

Looking for an Oceanic biocube 8 or 14 led moon light wall adapter. I have the part attached to the hood. I know this is old equipment. I'm hoping somebody has an old one tucked away.

I hope this works for you, but you might be better off getting the original specs for it (possibly in the owners manual) and hitting eBay for an AC adapter of the same voltage/wattage/etc. I just had to do this with my kids infant monitor. The original wall outlet broke, and the manufacturer wanted $70 (total cost of monitor was about $120) so I found an old cordless beard trimmer adapter that fits perfectly.

That is exactly what I found on eBay with the same specs. Can you send me a pic of what you got that worked? Can't even get them from the company now. Thanks!

To be clear, I didn't replace the wall plug for my lights (and I have a 29 Oceanic if that matters), I replaced the wall plug for my childs baby monitor.
