I have a biocube 29 and I'm having an issue. My clown during the night keeps getting stuck in one of the back chambers. Has anyone else had this problem if so what solution did you come up with.

I have a 32 cube and I used filter pad cut up to make a blockage so the fish wouldn't swim over the space/ little river to the back. Sorry for analogy I hope you understood lol

How did you attach the pad to the back?

InTank makes a fish saver for the Biocubes that extends the partition all the way up

Each cube is different but when I took the lid off my cube there is about a half an inch opening that I cut and shoved a piece vertically. Then I put a piece that is the same shape as the compartment he was swimmimg over on top. Kinda laid but pushed in.

I got lucky and my clowns dont try to jump over. The water doesnt flow over the space so they dont go "upstream" persay.

If you have a jumpy fish a lid is the really only way.

I also bought an octo lid that fits perfectly and is really nice.

Check out octolids.com

The pic shows how I put a little piece in the "well" so they can't swim over it.

It's not the prettiest but it does the job when my lid is off.
