Hey all! First off, I'm freshly new to this forum. I have a Coralife 29g biocube reed tank. I'm looking at removing the hood to add a new led light. I've had it 6 months now.

I recently bough a Nanobox Duo and I really liked it however it didn't mount to well. Unfortunately that light somehow was taken during a burg so I'm back on the market for a new light. I still may get another Nanobox but wanted to get some insight/recommendations.

I want to be able to have all corals.. Sps, lps etc.. I'd like to also have a clam one day as well as an anemone for my true percula clowns. Is also like to be able to control it by wifi, moonlight and love storm/lightning mode.

Thanks in advance!

If you're looking to go retrofit, I have Steves LEDs on my Biocube 14 and I love it. Great sunrise and sunset features. I never have to touch my lights. Everything is automatic. Good price too

I'm looking to remove the hood for now.. Would you recommend the xr15 or xr30? I was looking at those last night and really liked the look. As well as the new maxspect ethereal.

Xr15. You don't need the spread on a bio cube 29. Though if you are thinking about upgrading the tank down the line.... I could understand getting a xr30.

I'd like to upgrade down the road like 6 months to a year. Probably between a 50-70g tank. I just don't want to completely over due it. Although you can have multiple xr15/xr30 running together if I'm correct?

Have you heard anything on the maxspect ethereal? I know it's super new...
