Hey, I need help with equipment for my Biocube 32 to help with flow. I currently have a Sicce voyager nano stream (looks like 530 GPH) that came with the tank when I bought it. I feel like this is not enough flow for the whole tank, what would you guys recommend? Should I get a new return pump for the last chamber?
I am on a bit of a budget here so nothing crazy expensive.
Thanks

Following as I am in the same boat. I did buy a pretty cheap one off Amazon (i think it was like $10.99) but that was so I could mix my salt in a bucket with it. I'm going to end up using it in the tank if I don't purchase a better one soon as I don't feel like the stock one is enough either. My cheap amazon one seems to do pretty good but I'm sure it won't stand the test of time plus you can't adjust the flow either.

I’ve been using the stock return pump that comes with the tank and works just fine, I did however add a wavemaker (Nero 3) which I think is necessary anyway for the health of the coral and tank (biological filtration). I also added a random flow generator nozzle on the return outlet for more randomized flow.

I’m having good results from a sicce 1.5 return pump and random flow nozzle and 2 jabao slw-10 wavemakers. Started with just the random flow nozzle and stock pump, did pretty good. Then went to the sicce 2.5 and was better. Added the first slw-10 an was even better, got little cyano so added second one to help with dead spots an pointed the return more to the surface. Corals seem to like it an I notice less buildup on the bottom when I do water change an vacuum sand bed.

This right here is what I run on my biocube 32 and could not be happier. I get nice random flow and a nice back and forth motion in the tank fro the PHs. Being as it is mostly nems, they love it.

I think it depends on how much flow you want.. are you doing corals? If so, what kind? If you are doing soft or LPS, a wavemaker with a controller would be good. I just got a Jebao SLW 10 for my nano 13.5 evo and it does the job if you are on a budget. You may consider the SLW- 20 for the biocube.
In my biocube, I currently have the stock return plus the tunze nano stream 6015 for $50. It’s plenty of movement, but it’s just a constant speed. I think I’d like more pulsing movement with controllability if I could go back and do it differently.
