We are in the middle of cycling our new Biocube 32 and have a preliminary list of the fish we'd like to stock it with. We have our clean up crew picked out and also plan to add some corals as well. Here's our fish list:
2 - ocellaris Clownfish
1 or 2 Banggai Cardinalfish
1 Six line wrasse/ or star blenny
1 Goby/shrimp pair
1 or 2 Firefish

I have two questions regarding the list above.
1. Assuming the above list is what we go with, is there a recommended order in which they should be added?
2. Any recommendations for modifying the above list?

Thanks in advance for the responses!

You're going to hate a goby shrimp pair in a tank that small. They will wreck house burrowing. Also will need a deep sand bed to keep them happy. There are pros and cons to this.

Otherwise your choices seem ok. Add one or two fish per month once your cycle is finished. Go slow, be patient. When purchasing clowns, if you are buying a pair that are already mated, then no worries. If you buy juveniles, make sure one is measurably larger than the other. That's your best chance of having them pair.

My current tank has the following:
Ocy Clown
Rainsford Goby
Red scooter blenny
Geometric possum wrasse
Geometric pygmy hawkfish
Porcelain crab
Blood red shrimp
5x Trochus snails (only snail to buy imo)

Also look into the filtering mods for that tank. I have the same one. My Second chamber is gutted with a intank media basket with filter floss, SeaChem matrix, gfo and purigen, plus rubble and more SeaChem matrix, heater and protein skimmer in chamber one, and upgraded return pump in three.

I also grafted an AI Prime light into my hood and gutted the old lighting. Their LED lights are ok for softy coral, but they grow a crapload of algae as well.

Good luck! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
