Ok, before I ask, I want you to knownI have looked for the answer but have been unsuccessful thus far.

Whenever I read about coral placement, it seems like people are only concerned with large tanks and lights so intense corals could start on fire.....haha!

So what about us stock people? I have a biocube 32 and am unsure what strength the LEDs really have. Is there such a thing as "too high" in the tank if these lights are measureably weaker than custom lights?

See if you can find the specs on it from the manufacturer if possible.
If not
If it's led you can use a lux meter to Test the lights.
I would wager they are around 15000 to 20,000 lux. At the surface of the water. Roughly 300 par or so at the top of the tank. And trying to deliver just under 100 on the sand.

My jbj was the pro model and was 30,000 lux at the top.
Devide 16k led by 60 and that's roughly 500 par.
I will say the spectrum was terrible. I used the same intensity later and got great qrowth from the same coral under different lights. The had better spectrum at the same intensity so a better higher par.
