This is my bio-cube 32 nano reef build. 30lbs of live rock picked from the gulf the day prior to my purchase. Added some zoah and xania then a mushroom (all the actual names escape me because theres so many different ones i never remember them. I just got 2 more that again, i dont remember their names but will post pics once they are in. I also just purchased coral box DCA-1200 pump and RN-1 wave maker along with more cuc.

I will for sure. Question though, how long should i set it for? I know there should be some down time but im not sure how long or when. Should i have it off during lights out?

Nice setup! I’m interested in the rn-1 as well. I believe you will want it running at all times, but will want to vary the modes through out the day. As for lights out time, I would think running your pump at its lowest most gentle setting should be fine. You want to have some flow at all times though.

Some updates... AI hydra 26 set up, reef breeder ATO, protein skimmer (cheapy for now, will be replacing in a few weeks), a little better quality heater with built in monitor, a better filtration set up (trashed the stock filter carts and am using bio mats with a carbon bag and filter floss, and a new gobie which is hiding atm.

Yup i with you... i live in a 3rd floor apt, pretty sure anything bigger would end up in my downstairs neighbors livingroom lol

Very nice job!

Update, 1 yr after initial set up. Also just added 3 new corals yesterday.

Beautiful setup! Quick question, do you have to remove your light mount every time you pull the media rack out? Thanks!
