Biocube 32 pump

Standard pump that came with the biocube 32 pumps all the water out of the reservoir so quickly that it then blows air. It only started doing this today, I've had the tank for a month. Thoughts on why this is happening? Suggestions?

Yeah the tank is full. I added some water to be sure. Any more and it will overflow

has it ran dry at all? There could be an air lock in the pump, try giving it a shake.

also is the overflow clear? Have you added too much floss or the like, this would slow the flow down, and the pump would not get enough water to pump freely.

You aren’t doing something right then. I have a bio cube 32 LED that’s full and never had an issue. If anythIng the pump isn’t strong enough.

The floss I had currently is the stuff I've had for a few weeks. It hasn't been an issue until now.

Can you take a picture of the water level in the display and in the return chamber?

Is it a dc pump?

if so the setting might have moved, if the pump is set too high the overflow can’t keep up, the pump will then struggle, same if the pump has a dial to alter the flow the pump gets, if it’s moved, pUmp will struggle.

Can’t think of anything else it could be, overflow blocked, water level too low, or air in pump.

I think I fixed it. Water wasn't getting into and through the filter properly. Let to backup and not enough water getting through at a time. Fixed the flow though. Thanks everybody

Do you have one of the overflow (chamber 1) I'm trying Gage how high your display level is and if there is any blockage
