Hey All!
New reefer questions coming!
Last week I put together a tank that my friend parted with. Its a biocube 32. I just filled it with water/sand/rock. However chamber 2 is barely full of water. My skimmer isnt picking up enough water to bubble. I am nervous to fill more water into the chamber because I don't want an overflow in my room. I tried stopping the pump and moving water from main display into chamber 2. However, when I turned pump back on it all went back into main display. Not sure how this water displacement will work if I just dump water into the 2nd chamber. If anyone can confirm that it wont over flow my main display, that would be awesome lol.
Second question. I added only live sand into the tank. It has been about 5 or 6 days now and I am still getting ammonia levels of 0. Is that normal or should I see a small spike?
Thanks!
Ryan
