I already have a cobalt brand maxi jet 1200 as my return pump. This is the second one in a year, both noisy as crap. I know people swear by them, but I think they are JUNK. Does anyone have any OTHER suggestions for a 1200lph pump besides the cobalt? I want something quiet.

Why did you move on from the stock pump? I tried a powerhead in my biocube and my corals did not like it. They’re doing fine with the stock return pump.

Mine was being noisy, and wanted ability to control more . I like the feed mode mostly. The stock pump worked very well, I think it sucked something up in the rear sump.
My ph is mounted along right side just below upper intake screen blowing diagonally across , our gsp and hammer seem to love it

i heard the Jebao/Jecod DCS-2000 Nano DC Pump fits nice i have the dct-4000 on a 20 aio diy build super quiet the fans on my leds are louder btw i know this is a few years old but someone might need this info :p

Thank you, I was looking for more recent suggestions.

Get this pump. It rocks and is silent. I have it on my cube.

I have a Sicce 1.5 in my Oceanic 29, with an Innovative Marine Spin Stream on Return Outlet. The Spin Stream has been on the Aquarium since April 22. Had one time it stopped working. Soaked it in Citric Acid, and it was fine.
