Biocube 32 skimmer v2 and micro bubbles

Need some help. I just installed the coralife skimmer v2. It is in chamber 1 as suggested. When I open the valve to get foam to top i get tons of micro bubbles coming out the overflow. Any recommendations?

I had that problem when I used that skimmer. First there is a break in period for skimmers so it may adjust in time, second you can put a sump sponge infront of the top intake which will stop the bubbles from coming out.

They have to break in ..usually a few days. Some folks call it sliming up

Took mine 3 weeks to “break in” however by that I mean by making thicker greener yuckier skim mate and not wet. I have it in chamber 1 and don’t have micro bubbles never did
