I recently got a Radion xr15 gen4 as a Christmas gift to put on my biocube 32 and I was wondering on what intensity and spectrum I should run it on? I don’t have a par meter or anything and I’m worried I’ll kill my corals. It’s been a day since it’s been on and most of my LPS and SPS frags have their polyps retracted, while the zoas and palys are still wide open. Any suggestions on what intensity and spectrum to use?

If you’re using the rms mount I would say start off at around 10-15%. I use the radiant color template now running at 50%. I mounted about 15” away from the water. My top level corals gets around 200-250 par and 100-150 on the bottom.

just run 10-15% for a couple of weeks, then increase 5% every two weeks Or so

Thank you! I just got home and applied what you recommended. Hopefully the corals respond better!

Good afternoon,

if you dont mind can you tell me where did you mount the rms mount ?
Sorry for getting back to this so late. I didn't think about the hinges being in the way but I put it on that very back panel where the filtration is. of course I had to put the stock basket back on and it got quite frustrating. Eventually I just took it off and bought the hanging kit. Again, sorry for getting to you late. I hope this helps!
