Biocube 32g build

Very interested in these additives Kev. 4 weeks and results!

You have one big problem though sir! You’re gonna wake up next week and that bird's nest is gonna be in the kitchen and say, “Morning Dad. Can I make you some coffee?”.

Seriously though, keep us updated on thoughts using those products. And curious why you chose those products since you’ve been chugging along quite successfully already
Well here’s how my pea size brain works. A product comes up multiple times on multiple threads and my interest gets peaked. I start researching the product and then like magic an Amazon package appears on my porch. Still not sure if it was coincidence though.

So tell me about this product? Sounds like I might need to add it to my wish list for the future.

Did you add these to the AB+ and reef chili dosing or doing them instead?

I dose it once a week and still dose AB+ and reef chili on different days 3 times a week. Still not sure the growth had a little or nothing to do with the growth my tank seemed to have reached that mature stable state.

What ATO do you have on your 32? I think I need one to avoid asking the neighbor to manually do it while away. Though it’s nice. Nano or full? The big tank I have a cam but the temp gauge is off between sump and a stick on through the glass. The 112 has been using almost a gallon a day.
I mark the full water level on the tank and average out over a week where the water level drops to. Then use a doser with additives ie alk and mag and dilute it with rodi and dose the appropriate volume over time to make up for the evaporation. Put a wifi camera looking at the tank and where you can view the water level and put the doser on a wifi controllable power outlet with a programmable schedule such as
or

Sorry I can’t help, I’m the ATO. I’m sure a nano would work. With the lid on I can leave for a week without topping off. A lot less evaporation because of the lid.
Yeah, the lid keeps the evap down but I need to open for the auto feeder.

Just because I don’t have anything new.

I am right there brother! My daughter is engaged and the money is already flowing. I keep looking at the waterbox 150.4 but I’m going to have to put it off!

It all comes with time, my first tank was up for 16 years and was on cruise control for most of it. This one hit the mark at 2 years.

How often do you do water changes and how much. I could get away with once a month or even once every two month at 20% volume change when I only had fish and live rock. It helps that I have an external sump with a refugium with football size clump of chaeto + additional liferock + pods and a full sized skimmer and UV.

Once I have a bunch of corals, I do weekly 10% water changes. I tried going for a little over a month with no water change but corals didn't like it. ie acans not opening up and hammers not as fluffy
