Hey everyone. I have a biocube 16 and am having trouble trying to solve an issue with the water level in chamber 1. The water level is very high in chamber 1 and does not seem to be flowing as it typically does into chambers 2 and 3. Chambers 2 and 3 are both low. There's more water in the tank than there should be at the moment, and i had to add this additional water in order to keep the water level above the minimum line to avoid bubbles coming out of the return into the tank. I have not changed anything, and this issue seemed to randomly occur last night. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Is the filter clogged? I have a 29 g biocube. My flow is less when the filter is super dirty. I am assuming both Biocubes have the same chamber setup.

Sounds like a clogged filter. I almost overflowed a AIO with a filter basket and floss once when it clogged and restricted flow. The ATO kept filling the 3rd chamber up and the tank level kept getting higher with the clogged filter restricting flow.

How can the water level in chamber 1 be too high? It overflows into chamber 2 when it reaches the top. If the display is full then chamber 1 will be full. A clogged filter in chamber 2 would cause the water level in chamber 2 to be high but you are saying that it’s low. I would try adding more water to chamber 2 with the pump on until the water level is just under the top of the sight glass, ignoring the “max” line.

Just to be sure, chamber 1 is the one with the intakes, 2 is in the middle, three is the one with return pump, from right to left if you are facing the front of the tank. If that is how you are describing it, then kruler sounds correct. 1 overflows into 2, 2 gets sucked into 3 at the bottom, and three returns to the tank.

Look at the InTank website. There are videos you can select by what tank you have. There are some excellent mods you can easily do.

I had a intank media basket until I decided to just add a sump on my biocube 29 they are great way to add different media
