so I am a noob to the hobby and looking to get my first tank I don't have the room for a big tank so I was looking into the aio. I can't decide if I want to get the Coralofe biocube 32 with the LEDs or the Nuvo 40 with a AI HD Led. Just wondering if anyone could give me some Adivce between what tank. If I could go big with I sump I would with out question but I am going to moving with in the next year so don't want it to be a big project to move. Thank you for the input

Both tanks can work well but in my opinion the Nuvo fusion line looks a lot better aesthetically thank the biocubes.... The 40 will also give you 8 gallons of extra water volume hopefully making it a bit easier in case you make a mistake and over feed or something... Ive heard the biocube LED lights aren't too good and personally i like AI lights.. but this is your tank so i would go read a lot of reviews and pick one that will make your experience with the hobby a good one both tanks can work nicely

Thank you for ur input. I do agree with you the 40 looks so Much better the biocube. This is going to be my frist saltwater tank. Now I have looked into the AI lights would think 1 would cover a 24x18 area with no problem? Also be able to grow corals? I'm new at this and want to get a good led with not dump a bunch of money? Is the app easy to use? Do you have anything you do t like about the led
Thank you for your help

No problem! and I would go with two prime fixtures or something bigger like a hydra 26 or radion fixture... and its very easy to use the mobile app, very user friendly... Go on youtube and Dans reef has a review and setting for an AI prime and Mr. saltwater tank has hydras, inappropriate reefer has a radion for his 40 gallon tank, Mr. saltwater tank has reviewed both AI and Ecotech LEDs

All of these lights will certainly grow coral and actually may produce more light than necessary. And as for what i don't like i hate the AI controller that they give you, but they've eliminated that with wifi ready lights

Thank you. The thing I don't like about the radions is the 700 + price tag my whole thing is I don't want to sink a whole bunch of money into my frist tank just in case I don't get that in to but I can't see that happening. I want to get a good light that I am not limited on what I can do but with out breaking the bank. As of right now I have my cart full on BRS waiting to see if some of this stuff with go on sale for Black Friday before I pull the trigger. I think after talking with you I am going to go with 2 AI Hds. Mainly cause I have been doing a bunch of research and 9 out of 10 people like them. Also I see I don't have to buy a controller for it with the HDs I can run them off my phone

Two prime HDs should work great and i agree that some LEDs are just way too expensive, good luck and happy ReefKeeping!
