I only feed one small frozen cube a day what could be causeing such drastic swings. On the graph on the 2nd it was .07 on that night it was down from over .1 so i pulled the gfo and the next day 24 hours later it had more then doubled. Gfo brought it back down but what could be causing such a rise?

Welcome to the struggles of a nano tank. Currently dealing with the same issue. My tank is only 4 months old so things are still settling in. I have a feeling I'll be dealing with this issue for a bit until I get a better understanding of it.

I fed reef roids the other night po4 up to .25 a day later hanna reading .01. I'm now dosing neophos. I've also heard using nopox has helped some people balance out po4 and no3.

My swings brought about a case of dinos I'm currently battling against.

It takes time to reach stability and equilibrium. The cubes shouldn’t be causing the jumps, but rather the rocks and substrates unbinding PO4 to reach equilibrium with the bulk water.
