Biocube Upgrade questions

Hi,
So i currently have a Coralife Biocube 16. Im all set up. Corals next week maybe. I have a pair of wyoming white clowns and some inverts.
The lights can grow corals fine (so ive been told), But the amount of blue i cant change and its really low. the whites and blue have no percentage option. Its just on or off. So while whites are on the corals wont look as good and i dont want to get a brand new light/lid. Ive heard that you can add a BLUE light strip made for this kind of thing that will add enough blue and fix my issue. Any thoughts/ideas on how to do this? Any help or ideas appreciated

I use the tetra 6” led strips on my Biocube for more blue pop, they work great!

Think about the money you will save if you upgrade the lighting. I saved a TON by switching my 24 gallon nano cube over to led’s. It was $75 every 6-8 months to replace the bulbs. The light paid for itself in two years....there are a few brands out there that sell retrofit kits for that lid for around $100. if you want a GREAT new light for that tank, check out saltwater aquarium’s clearance section. There’s an aI prime in there for $150

The stock lighting won’t give you the colors or growth as a good led will.

I purchased a Turbo LED upgrade kit designed for Biocube from Steve's LED's a couple of years ago and coudln't be happier. came with a great controller and my SPS corals thrive. Definetly a great upgrade!
