Hello everyone...

Have a question, I just filled my 29 gallon BioCube this evening but am having a problem. I filled the tank to the rim, the mix/max level on the side of the tank is a little over the max line, but chambers 2 & 3 are very low with water? Chamber one is full, but not the other two? I only have the stock pump and heater running right now, but how do I increase the water level in the 2 & 3 chambers? Am I doing something wrong? Can I pour more water directly into those chambers without overfilling the tank? I have about 40 pound of live rock & 20 pound of sand in the tank but only had to use around 18 gallon of water. Any help would be appreciated...thanks...

Can you take a picture maybe?

I think I might be OK...I added more water directly to chamber 3 and it's now maintaining a good level. Being new to all of this, I wasn't sure if adding more water directly to the chamber would cause the main display to overflow, I guess they are completely separate from each other, which explains why I didn't use as much water as I expected when filling the tank...thanks...

Well I'm nut sure of the design, but if it's like a sump which it probably is then the water level will always stay the same in the display because of the overflow and if the water evaporates the levels will drop in the sump not the display. When you add water to the display because of the overflow it will just raise the water level in the sump/ back chamber. Try scooping a clean pitcher full out of the display and see if the chamber levels drop.
