BioMagnet Clarifier and Nitrifying Bacteria?

I dosed StartSmart Complete in a newly filled tank, and also added the bio-magnet packets that came with the Carib sea live sand. Then I read bio-magnet positively charges particles including bacteria. Did I waste a dose of Smart Complete? Is my filter socks just going to pull the nitrifying bacteria all out?
