I read on BRS that a high quality uv sterilizer can limit the effectiveness of a biopellet reactor. Does anyone own both, or has anyone used both with success? I just installed the Aquamax XL biopellet reactor and I also have a 55-watt uv sterilizer. I don't understand how it would affect the bacteria on the pellets, because they aren't in the water column.
