Hi all,
I am going to add a bio pellet reactor to my tank that has been running for 3 years to combat some high nitrates and phosphates.
From what I researched that I will need to add 25% of the recommended for my 120-gallon tank and wait each week to add 25% more to the full 100%. Also to run the water flowing from the reactor out to my protein skimmer. I read that bio pellets are good for nitrate but not really for phosphate. Should I run a separate reactor for GFO possibly or will the bio pellets be sufficient?
Is anyone out there running bio pellets that could provide some tips and tricks to running the reactor?
This reactor is an in-sump design lifeguard bio pellet reactor.
