Currently have a smaller established Biocube (bout 18 months) that I’d like to steal some bacteria from to help seed my 75 gallon that’s been running since January, as I want to diversify the biome and help things move along. I don’t want to remove any live rock or MarinePure from the system, so I’d like to put a Maxspect bioblock in my Biocube to get some bacteria on it and then add it to my newer tank- question is, how long should I let the brick sit in the established tank for before it’s beneficial?

Any other thoughts, advice, help?

Side note- I also started dosing MicroBacter7 into my newer tank, would it help to dose this into my established tank while I’m seeding the brick? The newer tank has a medium bioload and a handful of corals…

Pic of established tank for S’s and G’s…

Thanks,
-Ben
