I've been trying to order a biota mandarin from liveaquaria. They sent one last week and it was dead on arrival in the bag. Just got the replacement today and once again it's dead in the bag. Has anyone else had this issue? The other stuff in the shipment was fine, temperature seemed fine, etc.

Why don't you order from them directly? I ordered a Rainford Goby from them a couple of months ago.

Do they still sell them directly? They always seem to be listed as out of stock.

Hey Paul,

I think mandarins can be a bit tricky to ship in the summer, but we have had pretty good success rates.

We should have another batch of captive bred mandarins ready to ship in a week or two. We are fattening up our current batch and ensuring they are eating prepared foods.

Cheers,
Sean
