Biota quarentines?

As far as I know, they don't do a medicated quarantine. Melevsreef did a Livestream with them a few months ago. Depending on the species of fish, some are raised in direct ocean water and some are 100% tank raised with no contact with the outside world. With that said, I quarantine all my fish but I was afraid to medicate the two baby yellow tangs I received from them so I took a chance and so far, I haven't had any disease issues pop up in my tank (and I have a powder blue and a hippo tang).

That's what I thought, but that post on humblefish forum confused me as I don't know what a 3 stage quarantine is that they refer to

Hey Spare Time, a few answered the question pretty well below and we have changed a few things in the 2-3 years since that thread was posted as we're always improving our methodology.

It depends on the species and source because some of our facilities are fully recirculation and some are flow through or even a combination of both. We have moved towards a hybrid TTM for most of our species to ensure they arrive as healthy as possible. We do however still suggest a monitoring period before adding to your aquarium if you are able to do so in a safe QT tank or even an acclimation box to ensure they recover properly from shipping.

Thanks!

PS what is a hybrid version of TTM?

Thanks!

PS what is a hybrid version of TTM?
The hybrid TTM typically has treatments between tank transfers. Pending on the species we typically utilize hydrogen peroxide dips at varying durations. Before treatment we also typically take a skin scrape and/or gill and fin clipping to check population under the microscope to ensure we shouldn't be target treating for anything in particular.
