When i put it my tank, everything was happy for about three to four weeks. Encrusting and bright green polyps. Then it slowly started growing algae (green) on the base and it stopped encrusting. Over the last month, more spots slowly started appearing.

Does it look like something is eating on it or is it just STN?

Looks to me like something is attacking it. The algae is most likely just growing on areas where the tissue has already died. What do you have as far as livestock/CUC? Have you noticed any damage to other corals?

No other damage to any other corals.

CUC;trochus snails, blue and red leg hermits and emerald crab.
Fish; anthia, fire goby, clowns, yellow fin wrasse, yellow tang, lawnmower bleeny and coral bueaty. coral beauty has been a model citizen and nibbles at rocks all day.

Those look like bite marks? My bet is on your blenny if you are not supplementing algae or seaweed for it. I have to move multiple corals because my tail spot went after them. Green Toadstool, ginopora and possibly my pavona. It may have been due to the corals being in close proximity of its home but... what the heck

My bleny use to have a pot belly and it is a bit thinner now days, but still healthy. Usally the Blenny lives on the other side of the tank ( I never see him on the right hand side-RHS is were the birdnest was ).

Emerald crabs can sometimes attack corals, but it seems like it's usually softies/LPS.

The emerald likes to live on that side of the tank and particuarlly the rock where the Bird nest was at.

Come to think of it, I used to have a giant birdsnest until I pruned it way back. I had an emerald that basically lived in it. I had to chase him out when I pulled it from the tank. Couldn't really tell if he'd done any damage, but I wouldn't doubt it.
