hi my fist post and is a question

thought that birdnest like hi flow and lost of light, it is a thick branch birdnest,i been told that they like lots flow but not so much light, my birnest coral is brown, it is hi on my tank right under a 10k mh de, (10"from the light)my pink spiky one is right next to it and is bright pink,do birdnest coral do better on low light?tia

50 gal , a mag 9.5 for return, hydro #4 , and 2 maxy jet 1200, going to add a tunze nanostream6025 to replase the maxys ,Euro-Reef RS, and two clown fish, working on add more fish

I find that some birdenests are picky. I have some that love high light and flow and others that fair better in lower light and more moderate flow. It is hard to say really. Where did you get it, where was it placed in that tank?
