Do you have super glue? You don't need a plug if you can find a spot it cann sit.

Glue it back on the pug with Super Glue Gel (cyanoacrylate gel) . You can get it just about anywhere. Doesn't have to be from the pet store.

No. Cyanoacrylate, or 2 part epoxy putty (safe for use with potable water), which you can get at Home Depot or Lowes (or the LFS). This is the kind I get at Lowe's...

And I also agree with @mcarroll's statement above. I don't care for the look of frag plugs in my reef either. Personally, I would glue it back to my reef structure and save the frag plug for something else down the road.

And I also agree with @mcarroll's statement above. I don't care for the look of frag plugs in my reef either. Personally, I would glue it back to my reef structure and save the frag plug for something else down the road.

Sometimes you have no choice,however, if a coral like a mushroom is on a plug I would think twice about taking it off because their pretty hard to get back on to anything...

Also, I have found (so far) that the epoxy never hardens (I used 2 little fishes)...so you thing you have it on and 2 weeks down the road you touch it, it releases and you have a big, gray blob...

Just stick it in the sand bed or wedge it in between the live rock...it will be fine until you can re-glue it (if it needs to be glued to a plug at all).

Two different tools for two different jobs. Superglue is sticky but not very strong especially when cured in water. Epoxy is not sticky at all but (eventually) cures as hard as steel.

Tunze has some new epoxy that's got the best of both worlds, FYI.
