So I've limited to 3 sps in my nank. Currently I have a forest fire digi. Any experience in birds nest and the care and placement for them?

Do you find that they are as hardy as every place says they are? They say good beginner coral.....I keep my two birsdnest corals in med/high light and med/high flow.
They aren't getting quite as much light and flow as my acropora frags, but they're close.
I'm sure the attached article probably goes into way more detail, but that is what mine have had success with.
Birdsnest Coral requires moderate to high water flow and bright lighting (PAR 300-450) to maintain its color. T5's, Metal Halides, or LED's can all grow Birdsnest Coral when the proper PAR levels are providedI plan to buy one. Someone made a post and rough estimate would be 200 par
Wow that low? That is awesomeWith birdsnest you have to be careful of the type - there are green ones that prefer LOW light. Pink ones I think are the ones that like high light.
I got a green one and put it in high flow and 250 PAR and it bleached to complete white over night. I moved it all the way down to the bottom half shaded 80PAR and over the last 4 month it slowly getting back its green color. See the three pics below. Right after I got it, right after it bleached, and now

Color can vary due to light. First pic full whites and second mostly blues. It has been an easy coral for me and have fragged it at least a dozen times and it’s do again. Anyone in northeastern Ohio or northwestern Pennsylvania want some free frags I can give you all you would want.Following. I have a birds nest that is really pink and I thought it was supposed to be green. Parts of it are green, so I’m not sure. I don’t have any advice, just following along.
