Yeah was going to have them 8 to 10 inches away but I know they will both grow closer together. Thanks for the replythere could be some warfare. but eventually they should grow around each other.
generally speaking, try to space out your corals to give them room for growth
Beautiful tank thank youCall me crazy but I think that when they’re close together they grow faster trying to outcompete each other.

I have both in my tank. Although they are not close to each other, I don't see where there would be an issue even if they were. Neither have long polyps or sweepers. Maybe, if they actually touch at some point, there could be some unhappiness, but otherwise I don't know.
Birdsnest is such a fast grower, I would be willing to experiment with it. I got a frag from UC live sale back around Christmas. There was a very small piece that broke off the frag during shipping. I figured, "Why not?" and glued it to a frag plug. By small, I mean SMALL! Like, maybe 1/4 inch at most. It colored up in about a week and now has 4 branches.
Sounds good thank youthey will battle eachother but they don't have long tentacles or anything so as long as the branches are not growing into eachother it shouldn;t be a problem.
Thanks yeah I have a small piece that broke off my frag same thing was tiny already growingI have both in my tank.
