How does my birds nest look? Unsure what extent of polyp extension I should be expecting or not.

Looks pretty good to me , how long has it been in your tank for?

I love birdsnest corals here’s one of my frags , to give you an idea how fast they can grow here’s about 40 day work since I purchased it. The white tips are a sign of it growing and polyp extension seems to be a sign of good health.

About 3 weeks probably. Looks like yalls may have a little more extension, but not much. Good stuff.

I used to have a colony like yours that died in the last crash, it was anchored to the live rock so nicely dang I miss that one but hopefully this one will stay happy too lol

Nest looks good to me.

Something I found that my birdsnest really took off with was potassium . I bought a test kit by salifert which it tested low once I dosed it up to the correct level with the strong water flow it really took off.
