Birdsnest issue

Came home today and noticed that a few branches in my birdsnest lost polyps. Not sure what would cause it. I have a flame angel that has been in the tank for 6 months and never had any issues. My fish are well fed.

It doesn't look too be extending very far, and that's tissue necrosis so something either stung it badly or something is up in your system. Have you changed anything in the last week or so?

Only thibg I did was add a few frags. They were dipped in coral rx. I have a cali tort close to it but I can't imagine that causing an issue. Didn't notice this last night and I don't see issues with any other corals.
