Birmingham Frag Swap?

Does anyone know if they are planning on having the swap in Birmingham this spring? The past couple of years it has been in April, but I haven't seen anything listed.

I haven't heard of anything. The lack of Birmingham swaps has somewhat been supplemented by new ones popping up in Huntsville and Montgomery though.

I know there is a coral show here in Leeds @ The livery on May 13th! Atleast that's what I hear. And that's what I saw last year of a show they had there! Also, had a show by corals farmers market April 9th 2017...."The fish lady" puts it on. Never have been but have it marked on my calendar and def going to go and check it out, I'm staying in touch with the people there at the event center here in Leeds to make sure that date is solid and if it changes I'll post back in this post!!!! You guys should def come out. And is there a frag swap somewhere or just the show I'm talking about? Lol

That's what I've been looking for, the other ones are just to far to drive. There was a pretty good selection year before last.

Oh cool so you went to the one they had last year or the year before in Leeds?? I can't find the website a vendor sent me of that show in leeds , but I saw some big name vendors that came to little ol Leeds like zoanthids.com! I actually called up to the livery a few weeks ago, and they confirmed that they were having a show on the 13th of may, forgot I had called lol! But super stoked about it, as I have never been to a show as I've only got about a year under my belt lol

I live in Starkville it's a bit of a drive but its the closest one I've found. It was year before last when I made it over.

Oh OK, well I look forward to my first coral show here in Leeds, where I live.....I was trying to go to Charleston this last month for reef dreams as all of my family live in Charleston but couldn't make it!

There's a swap in Atlanta this weekend I think. I'm in Alexander city. I know a few guys with great home shops!

If you can send private message with home shop info I’d love to contact. I’m trying to get a few more zoos and softies in my tank and choices are slim.

How'd you find out about this one? Glad to know they decided to have it again. As for finding reef shows, I really rely on Reef2Reef to keep their list up to date. Local(ish) ones that I know of are:

Atlanta Reef Club - This weekend
MTRC is having one in Nashville. I think it might be the same weekend as the Bham one (they did the same thing last year and it hurt Bham attendance)

Recent ones I've been to:

Reefapalooza in Orlandoo
Rocket City Coral Expo in Huntsville
CODAX in Montgomery

People with garage "shops" are (they're both on here):

You may want to see if PedroYoung still has any zoas he's trying to get rid of. He had a thread a few months ago with great prices. I got some scrambled eggs from him that have become my favorite.
