Southwest Florida here (Naples).
Always wanted to have a SW aquarium but when I was able to afford it, lived in Michigan's UP before the real explosion of forums and such on the net. Didn't have access to any real knowledge/mentors so had it on the back burner. Also, it was intimidating for a bit. Moved down to Naples and talked with a reefer who said that with the net, the knowledge hurdle was lot less.
So here I am going back and forth on a tank and decided given I live in an apartment, I could either do Nano or 4' tank but not both. So decided to pinch my pennies and save up bit longer and get what I want (within reason, what I'd love is a 150+ gal tank, but that will have top wait).
