Bivalve? Growing on an old snail shell

Hi All, I was removing some old snail shells from my tank and found this guy growing on a shell at the back of the tank. It appears to be some sort of bivalve, although not sure what kind.

Looks like some kind of flat oyster, which are uncommon bivalves that sometimes appear on snails. Could you get pictures under white light (ex. with a flashlight)?

Hopefully this a a bit better. If not i can take it out of the tank when I get home to take a better picture. I should have said I am in Australia, which may help narrow down.

I'm not too familiar with Australian species, but this is definitely an oyster. NPS bivalves fed primarily on phytoplankton, though hitchhiker species will often last for extended periods without dosing.
