Question, and i'm only asking cause i've never had any here. Is this what a true black and white looks like in all cases? A local LFS has had some similar to that and they always look more brown and white up close. Has anyone had one that is more white than black?

thats how most of them look. Some may have more of one color than another, but over all thats what most would call a "true" black and white clam.

Mine is the same. More brown up close.
Definetely a stunner in person. I like it cause it doesn't change and look like crap from the front - same from the front of the tank or top down.

Good price on that one too, especially if he has had it for a bit.
