Introduced 2 clownfish to my nano tank one is regular Ocellaris bit large about 3in and the other black and white Ocillaris, proboem is i already have a snowflake in the tank. The black and white clown keepin harrasing my snowflake, i have put the snowflake in isolation box. Poor thing now had fin rot?! Half of its taul is gone!! Stress maybe ?! Im not aure but im s as fraid i might lose tgis fish. I tried introducing it back in the tank but the aggression and harrasement have increased this time the black and white clown literally bit off my snowflake!! Is there a way i coupd make them get along??

3 clown fish in a nano, once they go female, will result in just two.

I also question the two just added...that 3" regular Ocellaris is already female, and I have a hunch the black/white is also female. If that's the case, you'll end up with one fish.

I have 2 fake clown fish which is original 3 years in the tank. Just added 3 longfin clown fish and a Wyoming clown fish. No problems at all. Oh it's a 125 gallon tank. They all hang out in one end and not the other.

Why would you put three clowns in a nano?
for pairing off and breaking up aggression. I placed 12 at one time in drop off tank

I forgot to mention that before adding the Ocellaris and blck/white i had a pair of the snowflake, however one of them got bullied and attacked by the other ( the surviving one right now) and died. The surviving one is now being attacked by the newly added clowns! So basically the one attacked and killed its mate is being attacked yet again by other clowns ,, just lost 50 bucks on that snowflake in about a month , now the other $50 flake is about to have the same fate thats $100 gone!

Im not really sure which ones male/female u might be right, but they are getting along (as of now)

I know some people have success with keeping more than a pair of clowns, but I'm not so sure I'd be willing to try this in a nano?

I've got a 50 gallon cube and although the gf would love to get some black and white clowns, I've been pushing back because I don't think it'll go well with the 2 that are already established.

I think that tankn size is a factor I have a 25g which is not helping at all! Upgrade on the way hopefully in couple of months

If that's the case I'd possibly hold out and add them all in together if it's much larger?
Im still debating the size, got couple of pretty good offers from local shop for cade 1200 and cade 1500 peninsula slash prices by 40%! Other shop is giving me good offer ad well on RedSea P650,, trying to make up my mind.
only thing is that i hate seeing my fish die slowly from stress and rot and cant do anything bout it
Ill try to move it to 10g quarantine tank i have but needs maintenance ‍ before i add fish lets see hopefully i could do it this week end

There's a few posts on here about guys that have kept multiple clowns in a single tank.
One guy even took a video and had something like 5-6 clowns in a 3ft space.
Not saying everyone can achieve this but it's possible.
