We all love the colors that come from our tanks but, similar to other topics in photography like photojournalism or portraits, it's hard to take away the purity that come from black and white. When you take out (the distraction) of color, we can begin see the texture or even the negative or void spaces that our tanks and inhabitants create. Perhaps you will see your creations in a slightly different light and it may tell a different story after trying it out. The goal here is to add something different to our typical shots, something that asks us to test our creativity as much as our technical (ie exposure or wb) skills.
