Black and yellow snail/goo

Any ideas of what this is?

I removed it from a coral and put it in the sump for now…

Bad or good?

Also if it is good, if it dies will it nuke the tank?

Probably some kind of nudibranch (sea slug). They typically have a very specific diet and it would be probable that it eats whatever coral you removed it from. What type of coral was it on?

Looks like a juvenile common egg cowrie (Ovula ovum) - they resemble Phyllidia spp. nudibranchs when young, and they are reported to mainly feed on certain types of leather corals.
