Black box users question

Hello to all the Chinese black box users out there, just curious on how you guys run your lights. What times and what intensity % you like running on the 3 different channels. Been messing with mine for a month or so and can't seem to find that sweet spot. Also note I have not done any modifications to my lights.

Hi @deeznutz1878812 , i have 3 over my 90g , i run my whites at 30% for 5.5 hrs a day and my blues and purples at 100 % for 8 hrs a day .. for me this is my sweet spot heres a video of my tank !

Run 10 hours, blues 100%. The others come on at 50% for 5 hours. I have them go off an hour before the blues. Been using them for 4 years.

I used too get green algea growing on my glass , when i reduced the whites it went away , now sometimes i get just a fine dusting on my glass over a couple of days .

I dont run any night lights (edit !! I do use them , just not at night i use in conjunction with my blues) my blues come on first in the morning , ramping up over a couple of hours , my whites come on an hr or so later ramping up , then the reverse in the evenings .. i like the heavy blue in the evenings everything just pops!!

I have the Wifi ramping 165w BB.

Royal blue channel:

• 10am - 1%
• 11am - 100%
• 9pm - 100%
• 10pm - 40%
• 11pm - off

Blue channel:

• Ramping up 1 hour to 80% peak for 7 hours.
• Ramping down 2 hours to 1% for 30 minutes before off.

White channel:

• Ramping up 30 min. to 20% peak for 7 hours.
• Ramping down for 30 min. to off.

I have the older ones. They are either on or off. The only ramping up is by turning the dial.

I also have the older ones. 2 channel on timer 9 am to 9 pm whites 50% blues 60% been like that for 2.5 years and everything is growing.

Oh no, I know it was a mess there, but I hope the corals show a little more. I grew all these out from frags. Yellow cup, green cap, purple digi. Unfortunately, I didn't pick a very good picture.

Wish I had a better picture lol. My tank has taken a beating this last year. Hopefully things will color up nicely. I will say my par values are solid but focused in the center at 350+/- and 500 at water level. Kind of frustrating but not bad for 20/80 and $100+/- light fixture.
