Black box with lenses removed, what intensity settings?

I'm running a ViparSpectra above about 10" (shelf restricted) above a 29G. Current settings are 5% blue 1% white for euphyllia on the bottom. I'm worried this isn't enough PAR with the lenses removed.

Those who have lens deleted black boxes, what percents do you run and how far above the water are your lights?

No idea what removing the lenses does. I ran my black boxes at 20/60 when I used them on my 90g

I meant of the tank with the lights on full blast on your schedule. LOL

When leds 1st came out we didn't use lens. U got box's with 100 1w blue and white leds. No lenses. I still have 1 with a reflector behind em. Lol!
Reefkoi i think it is or evolution by reefkoi.

Anyways. The lens are just 60 or 80deg optics aimed to push the light or make more penetration with the light.

Leds are bright and powerful but the color doesn't mix well. Why t5s and mh are so successful imo.
