Oh ok lol. Does yours look like the other one or tge slinnier black variety with the ring around its head

It looks skinnier and definitely has a white ring just behind the head. If you go to Reef2reef’s Facebook page and scroll down until you find the post about the black one you tried to get, you will see my video of it.

Ooh i just saw it! I like the black ringed temtacles on its head.

Does it go in the trap and eat but not go in, or does not show interest in it

New video posted to Facebook. Getting closer !

This thing just may live out it’s entire life in my 29 gallon tank. I can’t catch it no matter what I try.

i used an empty plastic bottle (reef nutrition copepods) and drilled 5 or 6 holes in it and put pieces of drinking straws cut about 3 inches long in the holes and put some food in and a piece of rock to weight it down and closed the lid. worked the first night for me. still have it in case I find more hitchhikers. got the idea on YouTube. I can post a pic if interested

idk how big he is but if he won't fit through the straws, I'd try some extra rubber tubing you may have laying around

image.jpg Well after all this time. I finally caught it. Although I ended up cutting it in half. It’s your if you think it will survive the severed tail.

Yes please!

Ive heard the tail can grow a new head in some species and once prepared to spawn thats actually how they breed. The last few segments break of and swim around releasing eggs and sperm but they segment dies after uts done
