Anyone know what this black bruise-like spot is on my clownfish?
Could it be stung from coral or an infection. It's been hosting this duncan for a while tho

It’s probably from brushing up against a coral mine get them when they attempt to be hosted by one of my corals. But I’m far from an expert so take my advice with a grain of salt

This can be a bruise or sting and whichever it is should heal on its own. Provide good water quality and diet and keep an eye on it. Should be fading opposed to getting darker or infected

Tough to see, but it may be the same thing that I started a thread on:

I still haven't found a cause, but it usually goes away on its own.
