Black bubble like thing

I just noticed today on 1 of my rocks that I have 2 of these little black bubbles on the rock and I did a big waterchange not this past weekend but the following one and I did a 10% waterchange on Saturday and I tested my levels and I took some water to my lfs and they tested it also with a red Sea test kit just like I did and the only thing that was down a little bit was the ph so I added a buffer to raise that and now I'm seeing these little 2 black bubbles on my rock and I have no clue what they are and they said that my nightrates were good and my phosphate was a little bit high but I'm running high granular gfo and they were. 036 so there not that bad but does anyone know what these things are here's a picture and any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

That would be bubble algae.

Are you sure they are black and not green? If green, it is most likely bubble algea.

Growing in 2 little spots when my nightrates are good and my phosphate are low also because me and my lfs checked my water and everything was good except the ph was down a little

How would it grow with nothing in the water really and what do you do to get rid of that stuff because I'm running vibrant and gfo and I do a 10% waterchange once a week also

We all get it, it's part of having a saltwater system. How long has the system been setup?

And how do I get rid of it or whatever if it is what it is and even when you look at it under the white lights on my Kessel 360we light it still looks black

And the nutrients are low so how do you get algae like this if there on the low side

I siphoned mine out during a water change - didn't want to remove by hand because of the risk of popping them.

I've also had peppermint shrimp eat them in the past - but then they started to eat everything else (LPS corals), so they had to go.

Emerald crabs eat it. Some people have negative experiences with emeralds though, FYI. I've had a couple for 6 months and they knocked out most of the bubble algae in my tank with no ill effects to corals or inverts

Yeah I just read that if you pop them that they would spread everywhere but I won't be able to change the water again until Saturday and it's only the 2 of them that I see right now so do you think that it will be fine until then because I work at night and during the day so I don't get much sleep so I won't be able to do a waterchange until Saturday and I only have 2 clownfish in the tank and some snails and some lps corals and anemones and a couple of red hermits so the hermits won't pop them will they because I hope not and I just don't understand how I got them because my nitrates are low and my phosphate are at .036 which isn't that bad

I might get a couple of emeralds and if they start acting crazy then I have a hob refugium that I'll put them in do they eat pods or what
