Black bugs on new zoa frag

Acclimating it now and noticed it on the frag, it's being dipped right now but the bug seems unaffected. Should I not put this in my tank? These thing eat zoa heads right?

If you have a quarantine, then yes please place the frag in there.

Ideally you would clip the coral and place it on a new plug if wanted, dip, rinse, & quarantine - with the possibility of rinsing twice if using bayer.

With regards to what the critter is, they may be Halacarid, marine mites.

I do not have any experience with Revive so I am hesitant to answer this for you, but it's better than nothing. I would recommend Bayer for SPS and either coral rx or something of equivalent force for other types of corals. When dipping, use a turkey baster to provide water movement and to push off the pests from the corals' creaks and crevices. As always, do your own research just to be safe - I would await further information from other hobbyist here too.
