Curious if anyone is using black ceiling tile for screen top. It definitely reduces my lighting but I’m not sure with how much if I raise my intensity for my lighting they will be well over 100% for prime 16hd I do currently run the 3d reef covers. Should I take Them off ???

Are you using the black eggcrate to keep fish from jumping?
If you are the big holes in the coverage are going to be the spots fish will jump. I've seen fish jump through smaller openings.

Yes. Just for jumping fish all
The ones that I’ve had jump have jumped from the front lol

This was super common back in the day for a rimmed tank - way before the fancy custom mesh screens that are out now or even mesh with screen door track. I think it was a matter of them blocking way too much light since they are technically a light diffuser that make them less popular these days.

100% agree I might just do way with it and risk it. It definitely takes light way not a lot but definitely noticeable.
