Black dots started appearing on both my clownfish! Only had them for five months. Only other fish in the tank is a royal gamma although I did have a blue reef chromis that passed away a week ago.
only two corals: mushroom and zoanthid
Not really sure what it is, if anyone can give some advice

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Are you talking about the spots near the mouth? Clowns often develop black spots like that after being stung by a coral, and sometimes for no apparent reason at all. If the fish are eating well, I would just watch it for further developments....

No theirs dots on the fins and belly as well! I will for sure watch for further development.

There is a Turbellarian worm that can also cause black dots. As long as the clowns only have a few (less than 10 or so) spots, I wouldn't treat for that, it often goes away on its own, and the treatment (formalin dips) has its own unique risk.
