I only have zoassometimes it can be marks from making contact with stinging corals that it cant handle. it seems to be common on clowns who host elegance, galaxia, and hammers/frogspawn.
But they aren't going to die right? I'm treating my tang right now with kanaplex for something else but they eat the same food if that helps for anything maybe.Spots look too large to be turbellarians aka black ich. I've this happen with ocellaris before, but I do not know why.

I've probably had about 3-4 monthsI've seen dark spots come & go on some ocellaris with no further consequences. The thing you want to watch for is whether the dark spots are just the beginning of something else which will soon manifest itself: Bacterial infection, brook, uronema.
How long have you had the clowns?
